SVR was initially retained in 2014 to assist a US-based corporation to acquire, by way of subsidiary entities established in Canada, over 175 separate parcels of land across Canada. The parcels of land had a history of hydrocarbon contamination after use by multi-national oil & gas companies. We’ve continued to advise in a number of facets relating to the remediation of the properties and their ultimate resale.
