Hannah is a litigator with a growing practice focused on employment law, privacy law, and insurance defence. In her employment practice, she advises both employers and employees on wrongful dismissal, termination pay, severance, and employment contracts. She also assists employers in developing workplace policies and procedures, with a particular interest in helping organizations understand their obligations and manage risk.
Hannah also advises condominium boards and employers on compliance with privacy legislation, including the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information. She also assists clients with issues involving privacy and defamation, including when personal information is improperly disclosed in the workplace, in condominium records, or online. In her insurance defence practice, Hannah advises on personal injury, MVA and property damage claims, as well as condominium-related disputes.
On all her files, Hannah’s approach emphasizes clear communication, risk assessment, and practical solutions. She strives to successfully advocate for her clients while ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout the process
Before joining SVR, Hannah worked with a regulatory body, where she contributed to the development of professional standards and policies. An avid snowboarder, Hannah was drawn to Calgary and the Alberta mountains from her home in Saskatoon.
