Professional Background

Stuart thrives on solving his clients’ unique and challenging problems with practical, forward-looking solutions. His work spans a range of practice areas, with a particular focus on condominium law, real estate, and corporate/commercial matters.

Stuart works with condominium corporations, boards, and owners on the full spectrum of issues, including proactive governance and management solutions such as contracts, bylaws, easements, and covenants to resolving disputes involving collections, bylaw enforcement, and construction deficiencies. He is also experienced in more complex matters such as setting up or terminating condominium projects and navigating the challenges that arise in construction-related claims.

Stuart also assists clients with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and leasing, as well as select corporate and commercial matters such as incorporations, shareholder agreements, and partnerships. This breadth of experience allows him to provide comprehensive advice to clients in the real estate, construction, and business communities.

Stuart is recognized for his collaborative approach and ability to build strong working relationships quickly. He resolves issues by keeping conversations productive and cooperative, reducing unnecessary conflict while moving matters forward efficiently.

Away from the office, Stuart is a dedicated DIYer who enjoys home renovations, gardening, and other hands-on projects. With two young children and two dogs at home, he balances a busy family life with his growing practice.
