Professional Background

Josh articled with SVR Lawyers and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2026. He is an associate in the firm’s condominium, insurance and litigation groups.

Prior to law school, Josh attended the University of Calgary graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce. During his time at the University of Calgary, Josh enjoyed volunteering with various clubs and organizations. His desire to help others sparked his interest in law.

Josh is passionate about access to Justice. Throughout law school he volunteered at the University of Calgary’s Student Legal Assistance program which provided legal assistance to those unable to afford a lawyer. Josh routinely appeared in the Alberta Court of Justice and ran multiple trials. In his final year of law school, Josh was a mentor to incoming law students participating in Student Legal Assistance.

Outside of the office, Josh is passionate about traveling and enjoys playing disc golf. He regularly competes in disc golf tournaments.
