Mark is an associate in the firm’s litigation group focused on liability insurance. His practice also includes the growing need for employment law advice for employers and estate planning for individuals. Using his thorough research skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of information efficiently, Mark plays an important role in some of the firms largest and most complex claims. Through detailed reviews of case materials and insightful questions, Mark starts work each on each file with a view of the big picture. From there, he strives to deliver practical and compelling contributions that help move the file towards resolution.
Mark was called to the Alberta Bar in 2018, but is no stranger to solving peoples’ problems. His experience working overseas in the travel industry before law school taught Mark how to handle and resolve every conceivable problem for clients ranging from senior executives to mining crews. While studying law at Osgoode Hall, Mark was heavily involved with the school’s mediation clinic where he learned first-hand how to resolve all manner of issues without going through the full litigation process.
